As the creative person that I am, I can’t imagine a week that goes by without doing something creative. I just need it to be me and it always relaxes me. I will try to show you more of what I create on a regarly basis. This time I used a scarf of Mongolian wool that I bought on a trip to New York with my mother as a gift for turning 21…God what does the time fly by! Anyway because of the colour white I didn’t wear it allot. So Last week I decided to dye it in a rainbow way. I used colour dye that you can use for clothes that I bought in a drugstore. But I’m sure you can find it online also. Then I made several bowls filled with liquid paint in the colours that I wanted. Next up I immersed small sections of the scarf into the bowl with liquid paint. After 2 minutes or so I immediatly washed of the dyed section of the scarf so the colour would stay nice and clean before starting with the next colour. I went on like that untill the scarf was fully dyed, and then I left it to dry. It is so easy and fun to do! and something old just turned in to something new without it to cost to much money. I hope you enjoyed this one and you might be inspired to get your hands dirty in some paint;)
